Originally from Mexico Fern has been here in London for just 3 months. She’s actually training to be a doctor here in the UK but still loves smoking even though it’s a profession that detests it!
Sampling cigarettes when she was 16 has led to a realisation that smoking is relaxing and soothing. Fern recounts her story in the interview sequence of when she tried smoking with friends at a slumber party 10 years ago. She explains that she immediately enjoyed the first cigarette she smoked which instantly led to a regular routine. Interestingly, Fern informs us that for many years she smoked only when she socialised at weekends or special occasions and only began smoking daily when she settled in London a few short months ago.
An incredibly sensual smoker Fern sometimes performs nose exhales as well as conventional exhales. She really does love smoking which is captured perfectly by my camera. The most thought-provoking feature is Fern’s career choice … medicine! Most doctors agree that smoking is harmful and many feel that it should be forbidden completely. Thank goodness we have doctors like Fern who enjoy cigarettes and buck this (unfortunately) fashionable trend.
