Of course it’s never “just one last time”, is it?! I couldn’t stop thinking about the still mostly-full pack of cigarettes left in the junk drawer where I’d tried to hide them from myself. I quit 2 years ago, and I REALLY don’t want to get sucked back into being a smoker again. But. But. I really love smoking. E-cigs just don’t hold a candle to the real thing; one more can’t hurt, right? This time I have to wait until my boyfriend (who HATES it when I smoke cigs) is resting so that I can sneak out onto the fire escape for a nicotine fix. I’m smoking another Misty 120. Not my favorite brand (by far!), but I do love the way they look: long and elegant in my fingers with a white filter. I probably look a little funny holding them as I smoke, just because I’ve always smoked normal-length cigarettes (Parliament Lights and American Spirits, if we’re getting specific). The length feels a little awkward. I dangle the cig from my lips in between drags as my head tilts back in bliss. I double pump a few times, as well. I’ve always been a fan of double-pumping: it’s a great way to get a faster buzz, and with my long drags it’s highly effective! I let the ash on the end of the cig grow so long you’ll be sure the ash is going to fall into my lap, but I always playfully blow it off the tip just in time. I have to be really quiet in this clip so as not to wake up my cigarette-hating boyfriend, but I would love to have a smoke buddy: light up and join me! It’s been too long since I’ve had a hot guy to smoke with on a hot summer night like this, and I could use the company 🙂
